There are rising concerns as to the whereabouts of a Surfer, who may in fact have gone missing off the south coast near Crosshaven, Cork, last Wednesday. It would do the Surf and coastgaurd communities on a whole, a great favour if the Surfer came forward.

It is believed that a member of the public witnessed a surfboard bobbing along on its own accord. Later a young man wrapped in Black Neoprene was seen stalking cars parks. A navy Spokesperson said coastal conditions were extremely rough with winds reaching up to a force 8. This only brings to further attention the dangers involved in Surfing. Let it be a lesson for the entire surf community.
